Multimedia applications, especially programs such as Macromedia Studio MX (a bundle containing Macromedia Flash, FreeHand, Fireworks and Dreamweaver) can also be used to create basic gaming demos and games.

the need

This project involved the creation, or rather "re–creation" of a 1980’s style arcade game, using Flash.

My Demo

I chose Pacman as my classic arcade game (as you can see). The ghosts I "borrowed" from another site, but the Pacman, fruits and background I created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

This project was both challenging and fun, and was the second project I created using Flash. It incorporates the use of motion tweens, shape tweens, animation and sound.
