e–commerce
This project was based on the osCommerce project, an ongoing developmental project provided by the open source community.
the need
The challenge here was to customize the site to suit a hypothetical client, an on–line bookstore.
the fix
Part of the functionality requirements for this project included: allowing the user to browse the products on the site, add items to the shopping cart and check out at anytime.
The site was to be well–designed and customized to match the look of the company. I created the hypothetical name and logo.
