This client had just had his Toyota 4x4 truck painted a nice dark maroon colour and he wanted to add something different to really make it to stand out …
the need
So, rather than just replace the original stickers, we decided to airbrush the Toyota logo on the tailgate using a chrome lettering effect.

Using black & white with some of the base colour (dark maroon) and blue, I created the bevelled chrome lettering effect.
The body shop finished the entire paint job with a couple of coats of clear, adding even more depth to the "bevel illusion", created with the Toyota logo.
